Tensions rose Tuesday after an Israeli operation to blow up a tunnel from the Gaza Strip killed seven Palestinian militants in one of the deadliest incidents since a devastating 2014 war.

Most of those killed were from the Islamic Jihad terrorist group who went into the tunnel after the initial explosion, to rescue the terrorists already inside the tunnel. They were being buried Tuesday in their respective neighbourhoods in the Gaza Strip.

"He said he would like a future unity government to be composed of various Palestinian factions including Hamas", former Avital told The Jerusalem Post. She said some members of the committee have firsthand experience in the Middle East and the church's larger congregation and denomination is quite familiar with the issue.

Hasan Abu Hassanein, an Islamic Jihad deputy commander, had survived several Israeli assassination attempts before his death on Monday, and was reported to have fired the first rocket towards Tel Aviv during the summer 2014 fighting. But now the beloved Aussie icon is at the centre of an international debate in regards to his decision to bring his band to Israel next month.

"The film takes not just a critical view of Israel, but it promotes lies and falsehoods and it's that tactic of lies and falsehoods that ultimately promotes extremism and are detriments to democracy and detriments to ultimately any peaceful sort of resolution to the conflict in Israel", said Ragozin. No tunnel opening had been found on the Israeli side of the border.

Hamas, the terror group that controls the Gaza Strip, has kidnapped Israeli soldiers in the past in order to use them as bargaining chips for prisoner swaps.

Some 12 former lawmakers, who belong to the Peace Parliament Forum, traveled to the Mukata, the PA president's headquarters in Ramallah, to meet with Abbas.

Hamas has observed and enforced a ceasefire with Israel since the conclusion of Israel's 51 days of bombardment in summer 2014.

The goal is unambiguous: the demonization and destruction of the Jewish state.

Both Haniya and Palestinian prime minister Rami Hamdallah spoke of ensuring the reconciliation pact remains on track.

"Over is the time Hamas spent discussing recognizing Israel". Cancellations by artists such as Lana Del Ray, Neil Young, Megadeth and the Backstreet Boys cost between 10 and 20 billion dollars in lost revenue according to concert promoters.

The eight UN bodies or agencies to receive the funds are: the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, UNICEF (the children's fund), the UN Development Program, UN Women, UNESCO, UN Habitat, the World Health Organization, and UNRWA (the Palestinian refugee agency).

Adalah and Al-Mezan said that some of the residents of the threatened building have fled but others have stayed because they cannot afford alternative housing. The army has been seeking to build an underground wall surrounding Gaza that would block such tunnels, among other methods it has been developing.

"Given the pressure to cancel this showing, it seems ironic that a central message of this film is that U.S. citizens are prevented from hearing more than a single narrative about this conflict".

Hamas has ruled Gaza since a near civil war with Fatah, based in the occupied West Bank, in 2007.
