LOS ANGELES-Warner Bros has announced that the digital and Blu-ray release of "Wonder Woman" will feature a bonus scene. One of the scenes that made fans go into frenzy was the epic beach battle scene, in which German soldiers follow Steve Trevor to Themyscira and they come face to face with the elite Amazonian army.

At the battle, Diana and the rest of the Amazonians, are introduced to modern warfare.

"The beach battle was defined by one thing, which is Diana's point of view", Jenkins explains. Up until now, Diana has seen her fellow Amazons train and even battle, but real fights don't have rules and Jenkins wanted to highlight how Diana reacts to seeing her sisters fighting and dying in their full Amazonian glory. "So this battle, what was fascinating to me [is] it's the first time Diana sees her own people turn and this other side of them, which is brutal and capable and willing to wage a battle", Jenkins said. "And she sees the brutality of man".

What was your favorite action sequence in Wonder Woman? Sensation Comics #1 which was released in January 1942 and the Amazonian Princess's cover debut was sold for nearly $400 thousand, while the first full length comic devoted exclusively to the superhero Wonder Woman #1, which was released just months after in July 1942, was sold for more than $220,000. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat.

Directed by Patty Jenkins, the film stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner and Saïd Taghmaoui.
