Kings announce 2017-18 regular season schedule

The team's season opener will be on October 18 at the Golden 1 Center against the James Harden and Chris Paul led Houston Rockets.

Sacramento Kings released their 2017-2018 National Basketball Association season Monday afternoon, highlighting the home opener and nationally televised games. Key home dates include a nationally televised TNT tilt versus the New Orleans Pelicans on October 26, a meeting of top rookie point guards on ESPN against the Los Angeles Lakers on November 22, and a faceoff with the Nor Cal rival Golden State Warriors on ESPN on February 2.

Airing on ESPN, the Kings take on the Portland Trailblazers on Friday, Feb. 9 at the Golden 1 Center. The first 33 games of the season will consist of 20 road games for Sactown, before a six-game homestand lasting from the end of 2017 into the beginning of 2018.

Tip-off time this season will return to 7 p.m. for most home games, the Kings said. Until then, fans can sign up for pre-sale deals and have a chance to win court-side seats at The Standing Room Season pass is $15 per ticket.
