While the costumes on Game of Thrones look intricate, the Ikea instructions are quite simple. All you need to do is buy one of the company's rugs - like the furry Tejn rug for only $14.99 - and cut a head hole in it.

Clapton was detailing the process that went into designing outfits for the Night's Watch, the battalion tasked with guarding the Seven Kingdoms' northern border, when she told the audience about the Swedish retailer's rugs and their role on the show.

And bosses have predicted sales will soar following a vast increase in the number of internet searches for the product.

The sword bit is actually more like a fake penis (it's got veins and everything), so really it's more of a "penis on a handle" than a sword dildo, but we're not ones to nitpick when it comes to fantasy sex toys.

Then, leather straps are fitted and the rugs are transformed into furry capes, flawless for keeping the cold away while you're on watch at The Wall.

But, what if we said that there's one costume that could double up with another use? 'We take anything we can, ' she added. The rugs were cut, shaved, waxed and frosted so they "belonged to the landscape", Clapton said at the Los Angeles Getty Museum a year ago, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

"I want the audience to nearly smell the costumes", she added, "They were waxed and frosted so they belong to the landscape".
