TV Star Johnny Ruffo Undegoes Emergency Surgery to Remove Brain Tumour

Heartbreaking news today as we hear that Australian singer and actor, Johnny Ruffo has a brain tumour. "Keep me in your thoughts", he added.

The 29-year-old was admitted to hospital on Sunday suffering from a migraine, which was then determined to be a brain tumor.

He posted a picture on Instagram of his bandages and stitches that were a result of the surgery and captioned the images: "Some things in life really put things into perspective, hoping for a positive result, keep me in your thoughts".

Several local celebrities have reached out to the star on social media, with ex Home and Away star Esther Anderson writing: "Praying for you". One fan said: "Sending you so much love and best wishes".

Johnny first burst onto our screens back in 2011, when he auditioned for X-Factor.

Proving to be a triple threat, he has not only danced and sung his way into the hearts of Australians, but he's shown off his acting chops with a role on popular soap Home and Away. Ruffo also starred as Chris Harrington on "Home and Away" from 2013-2016.
