GREEN ISLAND, N.Y. Village police said officers arrested a registered sex offender this morning.

William Goodman, 42, was charged for failing to register internet accounts/identifiers within 10 days of creation while registering as a sex offender, after he was released from the Saratoga County Jail, police said.

Police said Jesse Wade Himes, of no fixed address, entered the first set of doors at the Goddard School in the Staples Mill Plaza at around 2 p.m. on Monday.

He was spotted peering through the glass doors by staff members, who police said approached Himes. He was arrested without incident.

Himes is being held without bond on a charge of "being present on the property of a child day center during school hours as a registered violent sex offender".

Goodman appeared Tuesday in Green Island Town Court for his arraignment and was taken to the Albany County jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.
