Biman loses Tk 400 m in revenues for Hajj flight cancellation

The first hajj flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines left for Saudi Arabia with 419 Bangladeshi pilgrims on 24 July.

Abdullateef stated that the pilgrims had been successfully accommodated in their respective hotels in Medina while activities of the pilgrimage had commenced in earnest.

"Drugs could be hidden in onions, dry red chilies, cans and other unsuspecting items", he warned.

Lagos Pilgrims are now receiving lectures and sensitization at designated hotels on the importance of Zihara in the course of performing hajj.

"Organisation and conduct of Nigerian pilgrims during visits to the prophet's mosque and other important sites has been a source of admiration to pilgrims from other continents".

Meanwhile, Lagos intending Pilgrims are advised to be fully ready for the journey by following strictly the laid down rule and regulations for the journey on the Board preparation to airlift the remaining pilgrims any moment from now.
