Panasonic launches the Eluga A3 and A3 Pro

Panasonic has launched Eluga A3 and A3 Pro, at a launch event in New Delhi. The Panasonic Eluga A3 and A3 Proar the price of Rs. 11,290 and Rs. 12,790 respectively.

Both the phones come with a 5.2-inch 720p display, 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF and 8-megapixel front camera, Android Nougat software with Panasonic's in-house Arbo Assistant, 3 gigs of RAM and 4,000mAh battery. The devices run on Android 7.0 Nougat and offer dual SIM functionalities.

The A3 will be powered by MediaTek MTK6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.25 GHz and the A3 Pro will be powered by MediaTek MTK6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. Both the phones have 3GB of RAM but while the A3 has 16GB internal storage, the A3 Pro has 32GB internal storage.

Both smartphones comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front facing snapper. One of the key highlights for the company is Arbo, an AI-powered smart assistant to help users track their daily usage and make suggestions to them accordingly. Today, software's comprising of applications and user-interface (UI) have become the deciding factor to upgrade yourself to the next level of technology. The A3 and A3 Pro smartphones come with the same size and the same display while they differ with the processor. "Customers will continue to look for the technology which will shape the product interface and the way we interact with our smartphones". The memory can be further expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card slot. There is also an 8MP secondary camera on each of the phones that sits on the front for selfies and video calls. The handset measures 148.7×72.4×9.1 mm and weighs 162g. It is a 4000 mAh battery packed into the device.

The Panasonic Eluga A3 and the A3 Pro will be available for sale starting August 10, 2017, in all Panasonic brand stores and other major offline retailers across the country. Apart from this, the smartphone also supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, FM Radio, USB OTG, a 3.5mm audio jack and a microUSB 2.0 port for charging and other connectivity.
