Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has left the Italian Serie A side Udinese to join Turkish top-flight club Bursaspor on a bumper contract, Ghana's leading football news outfit Ghanasoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The Sun previously claimed that the Terriers were readying a £4.5m move for the 26-year-old to add more steel into their midfield as they prepare for a debut campaign in the Premier League.

The reports intensified last week when he was rumoured to have met Huddersfield's top hierarchy after playing a part in Udinese's 2-1 victory over the English club in a pre-season friendly.

Badu was reported to have met with Birmingham City manager Harry Redknapp last week but nothing filtered out of their meeting.

But the Ghana midfielder has rejected reports he will leave Udinese this summer, describing the media claims as "false". "I am just here (in Austria) with Udinese for pre-season", Badu told Starr Sports. I don't have any offer from Huddersfield.

But the midfielder insists he has not received an offer from Huddersfield as he dampened talk of a switch to England.
