And now, a big decision lies ahead for the fancy-footed pro: whether she should return to Dancing With the Stars.

As for her fellow dancer - and brand new husband - Maksim Chmerkovskiy, things are still up in the air about his future on the ABC competition.

"There's scheduling, as I said before", Peta explained of her concern about returning to Dancing with the Stars. Peta also admitted that fans of the show hoping to see the couple back in the ballroom should "stayed tuned" to see if they're part of the cast again this year. "I'm a mom now and that comes first, you know?"

Murgatroyd previously shared that she was struggling to lose her post-baby weight despite her highly active career.

"We're sort of waiting to hear things, waiting to see what our schedules are going be like", she continued of a possible return to DWTS for their second consecutive season this year.

Murgatroyd has had her hands full since the most recent season of "Dancing with the Stars" ended in May, both figuratively and literally.

Busy schedules aside, Murgatroyd wouldn't change anything about motherhood and dished on her favorite thing about becoming a new parent. I mean he's growing up so fast it's exactly what people say it is. "He's almost seven months now and he's standing up, he's almost walking by himself", she gushed of Shai. "It's awesome. It's an incredible journey to be on". And while she didn't have much of a take on the rumors of Bachelor in Paradise star DeMario Jackson joining the show, she did get a bit candid about former White House Press Secretary, Sean Spicer. And when asked if she's ready to dance again, she replied, "Hell yeah".

Dancing with the Stars Season 25 is set to debut on ABC on September 18, with or without Peta and Maksim.

An official announcement will be made in the weeks leading up to the opening number.
