Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus Launched With A Secondary Display

This isn't the first time we've seen a phone with a seconday screen.

Meizu Pro 7 rear camera has an addition of a dual-lens module which is 2017's hottest smartphone trend. Both the smartphones do pack quite a few surprises despite the extensive leaks. Both the smartphones will come with 3.5mm headphone jack Last but not the least, Meizu announced "Meizu Flow headphones" along with the smartphones. Meizu Pro 7 will be available at $ 430 while Pro 7 Plus is priced at $530. There's a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) Super AMOLED display in the front and a 1.9-inch (240×536 pixels) Super AMOLED secondary display with 307ppi pixel density at the back as well. The volume rockers and the power button is on the right-hand edge of the smartphones.

The freshly announced smartphone Meizu Pro 7 has literally turned things over. As you can see in the images, a secondary display is placed on the backside, not totally unlike the YotaPhone series, though this one is actually fully color and much smaller at just 2-inches.

It is reported that the second screen of the gadget is also touch and is located on its rear panel. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P25 or Helio X30 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB in-built storage. The 10nm chipset has 10 cores made up of three clusters - two Cortex A73 cores that go up to 2.6GHz, four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 2.2GHz, and four energy-efficient Cortex A35 cores at 1.9GHz.

There's a rear display on both the Pro 7 variants.

The dual rear cameras of both devices come equipped with 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 sensors to help you capture all your lovely moments easily. The front-facing camera is a 16MP shooter to take care of the selfies. However, users can click selfies with both the cameras and the dual rear camera can be used to achieve the Bokeh effect in selfies or click monochrome selfies. While the Pro edition is embedded with a 3000mAh battery, the Pro version carries a 3500mAh mCharge fast charging battery to provide an enhanced backup. Meizu mCharge technology promises ultra-fast recharge speeds and reduction in overheating. The phone has got the same sensors as the Meizu Pro 7 smartphone on both the sides of the device. The Meizu Pro 7 additionally comes in Red color and coming to the pricing; the Helio P25 powered variant costs 2880 Yuan while the Helio X30 powered variant costs 3380 yuan.

It will be unavoidable, but the second screen will be the focus of the Meizu PRO 7.

In the aspect of sales, the Meizu president disclosed that the company has ditched the idea of releasing many smartphones annually as was the case a year ago because it still doesn't guarantee that they'll hit their sales target.
