Pictures and New Line Cinema will be bringing terror to the big screen well in advance of the spooky holiday.

On Wednesday, a 10-second teaser for the movie adaptation of Stephen King's It was released.

From the trailers we've seen so far, IT seems to capture the creeping dread of King's novel along with the visceral scares and frights. It was one of the better looks we've gotten of the murderous clown following the first couple of trailers. In it, the Losers appear to be the sole force of good in the town of Derry, ME.

In September two more figures will be released.

Director Andrés Muschietti, known for Jessica Chastain horror Mama, has taken over from Beasts of no Nation's Cary Fukunaga, who was originally attached before dropping out.

If you want to see more from the movie, watch the first It trailer right here, and be sure to check out our reaction to some extended clips that were shown at San Diego Comic-Con.

And in a new trailer for the film released this morning, we hear Skarsgård-as-Pennywise's speaking voice for the first time, a breathy whisper as he lures poor, doomed Georgie Denbrough (Jackson Robert Scott) to his death in the novel's famous cold open. The cast includes a group of young actors that include Jaeden Lieberher (Midnight Special), Jeremy Ray Taylor (Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip), Sophia Lillis (37), Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things), Wyatt Oleff (Guardians of the Galaxy), Chosen Jacobs (Cops and Robbers), Jack Dylan Grazer (Tales of Halloween) and Nicholas Hamilton (Captain Fantastic).
