The Japanese publisher announced that they're planning to "bolster [their] background systems to ensure that the closed beta registration and selection process can accept the volume of anticipated sign-ups", and doing so will cause a delay of almost one month. That is why they will move the registrations to August 22 of this year.

Beta signs were supposed to begin on Wednesday, July 26th, but due to an overwhelming amount of player enthusiasm, developers are making some changes to allow for more players to enter. You should be aware of the 22 August registrations to get the chance to get a place in the technical test. More data will be revealed in the coming days. Bandai Namco has yet to reveal if an open beta is taking place.

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc. would like to thank all its fans for their tremendous support for DRAGON BALL FighterZ.

Bandai Namco's Dragon Ball FighterZ, developed by Arc System Works (Guilty Gear, BlazBlue), will be hosting its closed beta for the fighter on September 16th to 18th.

We are also working to bolster our background systems to ensure that the closed beta registration and selection process can accept the volume of anticipated sign-ups.

Because of the overwhelming enthusiasm and interest in the game-particularly following the recent EVO 2017 event-Bandai Namco made a decision to expand the closed beta's capacity so more will be able to participate.

If you were salivating at the thought of playing as your favorite character in the upcoming fighter Dragon Ball FighterZ during its closed beta, it looks like you've still got a little more time to wait to try it out, unfortunately.
