The Arsenal full-back is surplus to requirements at the club following the signing of Sead Kolasinac and has been heavily linked with a move to the Hawthorns.

West Brom have been on their own tour to prepare themselves for the upcoming campaign with the Premier League Asia Trophy, which has been played in Hong Kong.

"We won't be signing Kieran Gibbs", he told Sky Sports.

"We have to look for players that fit what we want to do and the way we want to play".

The club Wenger is talking about is very likely to be West Bromwich Albion, as according to various media reports, they made an unsuccessful £10m bid for the 27-year-old last season.

"We have three or four other targets we are desperate for".

Gibbs is now third choice in the left wing back role that is now in vogue at the Emirates, with Arsene Wenger preferring to stay with three at the back, thus allowing the wingbacks to surge forward.

Gibbs has found himself out-of-favour at the Emirates, having only made 11 appearances in the league last season, with Arsene Wenger often preferring Spaniard Nacho Monreal over the England worldwide. Maybe, as the Evening Standard says that Arsenal value Gibbs at £15 million and that does not sound too much compared to the majority of transfer fees we have seen recently.
