Amid conflicting reports on the health of the 74-year-old president, his office released a photograph on Sunday - the first for nearly three months - showing a smiling Buhari looking less gaunt than when he was last seen on television in Nigeria.

The visit is coming on the heels of Sunday's visit by some governors and the Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). After the visit of the APC governors, a picture - the first in the nearly 80 days since he left the country, was released.

The governors purportedly chosen to visit Buhari are: Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom), Dave Umahi (Ebonyi), Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara), and Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo).

Al-Makura, who was part of the delegation that visited the president, stated that Buhari is healthy and aware of the incidents happening in Nigeria.

He said the Nigeria Governors' Forum was not contacted before the selection was made.

"Our colleagues are going to London to see the President". The worse of the two is that of a sitting governor, with a mandate of four years to serve his people, even as that of a president, while the other co-traveler, a known political jobber, always seeking for attention and relevance, with the ultimate objective to get political appointment through negative criticism of leaders.

Speaking to journalists on Monday after the 50th General Assembly meeting of the group in Abuja, the National Coordinator of the organisation, Saint Athanasius Okon expressed dissatisfaction with the incessant criticism and verbal attacks of the president by the Fayosu and challenged him to back his criticisms with facts.
