Look no further than Warner Bros. x DC Comics' own shot at Marvel's cinematic supremacy, as a four minute first look at Justice League was unveiled. Although Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot aren't now working on any active projects, Henry Cavill and Ezra Miller are both "scrambling" to squeeze in time for the reshoots.

As always, Warner Bros. went big at their annual Comic-Con panel and, of course, that meant serving up lots of sneak peeks and reveals for their slate of DC Films.

The film's synopsis reads: "Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy". The video features Aquaman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Batman and Cyborg teaming up to fight the powerful villain Steppenwolf.

While Batman himself Ben Affleck and Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot are now not in production on anything, both Ezra Miller's commitment to the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them sequel and Henry Cavill's work on Mission Impossible 6 are what is causing the delays. "Well, almost." The voice over in the trailer says: "No protectors here.no lanterns, no Kryptonian", teasing Superman's apparent death following the tragic events of Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice. Whedon was originally hired to write additional scenes for Justice League, before being asked to direct as well. According to the site, the reshoots are about the film's character work and "connective tissue".

Will Justice League just be some weird abominable mix of Whedon and Snyder? In theaters November 17.

Unfortunately for the Justice League production, Cavill is also now filming a role in the upcoming Mission Impossible film, in which it's necessary that he keeps his dirty lip rug.
