According to a tweet from ESPN's Adam Schefter, the veteran defensive back will meet with the Arizona Cardinals on Wednesday.

Former San Diego Chargers cornerback Brandon Flowers is now visiting with the Arizona Cardinals and has been talking with the New England Patriots, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

After three seasons with the Chargers, cornerback Brandon Flowers was one of three players released by the team in March.

Flowers' first six seasons in the National Football League were spent in Kansas City, where he accounted for 17 interceptions and three touchdowns in 88 games played for the Chiefs.

The veteran was off to a good year prior to the injury, tallying 28 tackles and five passes defended plus one interception returned for a touchdown. He only played in 6 games previous year for San Diego with 24 tackles and 1 interception. In his final season with the Chiefs, Flowers earned the lone Pro Bowl selection of his career to date, as he racked up 71 total tackles and an interception. He hasn't played all 16 games in a season since 2011, the only year in his career he has done it.

Justin Bethel is now atop the depth chart for the Cardinals as the No. 2 cornerback.
