A new leak for the Mi 5X, Xiaomi's newest upcoming mid-range handset has just appeared online.

Xiaomi 5X is said to be rocking dual camera setup at the back and 5MP shooter at the front. Interestingly the leaked poster, which mentions Xiaomi Mi 5X says the phone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and 4GB RAM, not the 660 one mentioned in the report. There were lots of rumors about Xiaomi's latest smartphone recently. The price of the device is expected to be 1,999 yuan (approximately Rs 19,000).

However, these are all leaks and rumours, we will request our readers to wait till the official disclosure from the company for any confirmation. It is said that the upcoming Xiaomi 5X could be a mid-ranged smartphone. Leaks and rumours around the Xiaomi's next affordable smartphone have been taking place, and now the Redmi 4 with specs has been found listed on a Chinese micro-blogging platform called Weibo, which shows the smartphone will come with a host of improvements in both hardware and software specs. There is still no word on the launch or release date details of the handset.

The report was first spotted by goandroid, via a leaked poster.

While Xiaomi's Mi series has proved to be quite popular among consumers, they are primarily sold online in most markets.

With increasing popularity of dual camera, Xiaomi's shift is a smart move. Reportedly, the sub-brand is being created with strong focus on offline sales. Whether the more premium version comes with the same 5.5-inch display or a larger one is still unknown. Could the launch of such a device possibly help the Chinese company snatch away offline customers from biggies like Oppo and Vivo?

More leaks suggest that the Mi 5X will have dual OmniVision sensors, the OV12A10 OmniVision sensor + OV13880 OmniVision sensor, along with a front facing 5MP camera with a S5K5E8 sensor.
