With production on Deadpool 2 having recently got underway, Good Morning America took the opportunity to ask Josh Brolin (who's portrayal of fan favorite character Cable is eagerly anticipated) about the upcoming blockbuster sequel.

"It's not that I don't break the fourth wall".

"Eh, they did Deadpool and I'm doing the Thanos thing right now, and should I do it?" the actor recalled, saying that it was only after his wife encouraged him to really read the hilarious script that he accepted.

Brolin explains that he thinks the script is actually pretty amusing, and says that it may even surpass that of the first Deadpool. "He can be a lot of different things but he also can be very amusing", the actor said of his character who, despite having a serious demeanor, still has a sense of humor to keep up with the wacky antics of Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool. "To me it's even funnier than the first one ..." Just read it.' And I read it and I laughed harder than I've laughed in a very long time. "He can be a lot of different things but he also can be very amusing". However, it looks like Josh Brolin is impatient ab he has already begun teasing out his movie and has begun teasing Deadpool 2 already. The only things we do know, aside from the appearance of Cable, is that X-Force member Domino will be introduced (played by Zazie Beetz), and there will also be the return of X-Men Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

Deadpool 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on June 1, 2018.
