He joins Race Thompson and Jerome Hunter as players that have pledged to Miller and the IN program for 2018, although Thompson plans to reclassify to 2017 and redshirt during the 2017-18 season.

A native of Pickerington Ohio, the heralded 2018 recruit now attends Pickerington North High School.

"I truly appreciate all the schools that have recruited me, the relationships with coaching staffs and everyone who have supported me to this point", Hunter said.

Archie Miller has his first ESPN 100 commit since taking over at IN, landing four-star forward Jerome Hunter on Monday afternoon. Ranked 15th in the country at his position, and 60th in the country overall, his commitment is a huge steal for Hoosiers head coach Archie Miller.

On the other hand, 247Sports' "Crystal Ball" prediction initially had Hunter heading to the Ohio State Buckeyes over the rival Michigan Wolverines by way of a 75 percent to 25 percent split.

Hunter is ranked No. 44 in the ESPN 100 for 2018.
