It's being reported by The Evening Standard, the actor consoled a tourist after being attacked by robbers, who were traveling by moped and armed, in Chelsea, London.

According to the Evening Standard, the Harry Potter star was among a group of people who rushed to the aid of a man who was attacked by two men in west London.

The victim - a man aged in his 50s - was walking in the road when two people riding a moped snatched his bag before riding off.

"He was a really nice bloke".

"I tried to follow them but I lost them as they were jumping red lights".

The two men reportedly stole the man's Louis Vuitton bag and left him with a facial injury. He wasn't going to give up the bag willingly.

Apart from sustaining cuts to the face and being visibly shaken, the victim is said to be fine and thankful for the help.

"They grappled with him on the pavement. I tried to ram the bike with my auto but I wasn't able to", he told the publication of his bid to intervene.

After attempting to stop the muggers from driving off on their moped, Videcette returned to the scene and noticed Radcliffe among the crowd attending to the injured tourist.

A spokesman for Daniel Radcliffe confirmed that the star was present at the scene of the crime, but declined to comment further.

The Met Police said there had been no arrests as yet, and officers from Kensington and Chelsea were investigating.

"Police were called at approximately 6.10pm on Friday, July 14 to reports of a robbery in Hortensia Road".
