The iPhone 8 and Galaxy Note 8 are two of the most anticipated smartphones releasing this year. Rumours around the anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 8 flagship have been suggesting August launch in NY. Another one to bite the dust is the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, according to tech monkey Evan Blass this may be the priciest one yet. The 6.3-inch device, with the same edge-to-edge, 18.5:9 aspect ratio AMOLED display as in the Galaxy S8 lineup, will be unveiled in the second half of September, an individual briefed on the company's plans told VentureBeat.

Breaking reports have suggested that the Galaxy Note 8 launch will be pushed forward, meaning that the phablet will arrive before the iPhone 8. According to the latest info, the Samsung will stick to the same fingerprint sensor placement we've seen in the Galaxy S8. Samsung is soon expected to announce a 4.5-inch display smartphone, and will call it Galaxy Stellar 2.

The device should have 2.5GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

Samsung is reportedly planning a phone with its biggest screen to date, and a set of powerful new dual cameras like the iPhone 7 Plus.

On the Note 8, users will be able to pin S Pen handwritten notes to the AOD, or Always On Display.

As for other specs, the Note 8 will purportedly use either the Exynos 8895 or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, same as with the Galaxy S8 line.

We know that Galaxy Note 8 is probably coming in August, and as that month is approaching the leaks related to this flagship phablet are also increasing.

Unfortunately, the fingerprint sensor will be in the same position, but with more spacing between it and the horizontally aligned camera lenses.

Rumors prior to the Galaxy S8 launch suggested that Samsung might release a pink color option for the device. It will also be the first to have dual cameras on the backside, both equipped with 12-megapixel sensors. A 5-megapixel shooter is placed on the back of the device, and a 1.2-megapixel unit can be found on the device's front side.

The Galaxy Note 8 will be powered by a 3,300 mAh battery, as Samsung avoids the trouble that came with the 3,500 mAh battery of the Galaxy Note 7.
