It is true. I'm really looking forward to Wimbledon.

He missed Wimbledon previous year with a wrist injury and since he lost to Novak Djokovic in the 2011 final, Nadal has had an underwhelming run, with each of his four subsequent visits ending in defeat to a player ranked 100 or lower.

Federer qualified for the quarter-finals with a 7-6 6-4 win over the German Mischa Zverev.

"I'm playing really well on grass", said Cilic, the 2012 champion 2012 and current favourite.

"While they are still happy and healthy I think they are quite happy doing their own thing and going their own way", she told BBC Radio 5 live. He is playing really well and last week he won a title. I'm a big fan of the Heritage t-shirt for practice and the red inner on the Vapors is very cool.

Also through is the sixth-seeded Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria who moved a step closer to winning his second tournament title here with a 6-3 3-6 6-3 victory over Russian Daniil Medvedev after 106-minutes.

The match, at four hours and 48 minutes, is still the longest final in Wimbledon history.

The Australian, who had previously withdrawn from the Aegon International in Eastbourne, casting doubts about her participation at the third Grand Slam tournament of the year, last missed Wimbledon back in 2002 when her ranking was too low to even enter qualifying.

Federer was speaking after an 11-week break from Tour action, where he has returned to action in Halle to prepare for Wimbledon.

"I thought I was very calm out there, even in hard moments", said Federer, who only returned to action last week in Stuttgart after a two-month break.
