Firefox Quantum is the latest web browser from Mozilla. Firefox Quantum is twice as fast, from its previous version and boasts to use 60% less memory than any of its competitors to offer a jubilant experience for its users.

There are a number of features that make Firefox Quantum a significant new entry in the browser wars, included its new CSS engine (Quantum CSS).

A new Firefox browser is now available for mobile devices, one that's twice as fast as Firefox from 6 months ago, Mozilla claims. It also uses less memory than competing browsers with a fresh new UI in place.

In the month of September, we had reported how Mozilla has chose to take on Google's Chrome with its latest version of web browser known as "Firefox Quantum" that would be available to all Firefox users beginning November 14.

Mozilla Firefox Quantum is available now for Windows, Mac and Linux platforms. In a browser speed test video that Mozilla posted to the site, the new Firefox beat out Chrome in loading a few big name websites like Yelp and Shutterstock as well.

Firefox Quantum prioritizes the tab being used before other tabs you have open in the background. Pocket allows you to quickly "pin" stuff to a customized feed, that you can go back to later. Quantum performance Firefox 57 is the first public release to include "Project Quantum". Dubbed as Photon, this new UI aims to modernize and unify anything under Firefox.

There's more that could be said about Quantum, but at this point, you should stop reading and download Firefox Quantum, because it will make you happy.

Mozilla's engineers rebuilt the core engine, giving it brand new guts and interacting with more than 7 million lines of code in the process.

Mozilla better knows that Chrome has won most of the users of internet browsers by its performance. If you don't, maybe it's time to give Mozilla's alternative browser another shot.

Content recommendations from Pocket have also been fully integrated.

New features in the Firefox Quantum are a unified search bar to help users find what they are looking for, the navigation icons are now on the left, and personal items like downloads, history, screenshots are now on the far right.
