Critical injuries reported after NE Extension crash

According to state police, the auto was driving northbound in the left lane trying to pass another vehicle when it hit the center median, traveled back across the right lane onto the shoulder and hit the guardrail.

Two teens, ages 17 and 15, and two children, both 12-years of age, who were passengers inside the vehicle, were ejected onto the roadway. Several people were airlifted to regional hospitals, police said, but their conditions were not available shortly after midnight Monday. She climbed over the barrier and helped the injured victims along with at least nine other Good Samaritans.

A one vehicle crash on the Northeast Extension Sunday at around 3:30, just past the Lansdale exit In Bucks County, closed the northbound lanes for several hours. Two of the children were flown from the scene by medical helicopter with critical injuries, according to police.

Wise suffered minor injuries in the crash, police said, and 21-year-old Gregory Allen, another occupant from Philadelphia, was not injured.
