After having been turned down by Napoli on their 7 million euros entrance bid, aimed to get nearly 35-year old Spanish star goalkeeper Pepe Reina signed, Paris Saint-Germain management, according to latest Italian rumours, are coming up with a new plan.

Reina is now in the final year of his deal at Stadio San Paolo and, whilst the Serie A giants are keen to retain his services beyond next summer, question marks remain over whether the 34-year-old will stay in Italy. Meanwhile, former Liverpool and Bayern Munich stopper is tempted by the chance to join PSG, and experience Ligue 1 for the first time.

The Spain global was linked with a reunion with ex-Reds manager Rafael Benitez at Newcastle United back in June, but nothing came of that particular rumour and it seemed that Reina would remain with his current employers.

Reina has moved into his final 12 months under contract at Napoli and has been looking for a new deal, which the club have been unwilling to give.

Naturally, such comments didn't go down with either Reina or his partner and a transfer away had looked increasingly likely.

Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri his furious with Pepe Reina as the Spaniard is reported to have agreed personal terms with Psg.
