Harry Hadden-Paton plays the Red Prince, a haughty but heroic lizard noble exiled from his own empire.

Voice acting talent in the sequel includes veterans from the games industry and beyond. Alix Wilton Regan plays Sebille, an elven assassin seeking vengeance against the Master who once enslaved her. Tamaryn Payne plays Lohse, a star musician possessed by an unwelcome - and powerful - visitor.

Chris Finney as Ifan ben-Mezd, a mercenary ex-soldier on the run from a haunted past.

After initially saying that the game would not get full voice acting, it seems as though Larian has somehow finagled the task into their budget and development pipeline as Divinity: Original Sin 2 will have a full roster of voice actors that have recorded over 1 million words of dialog.

Fans of the Divinity series may remember Harry Hadden Paton, who voiced Edmund in Divinity: Dragon Commander, as well as the Male Inquisitor in Dragon Age: Inquisition. The voice of Alec Newman will also be recognizable - he has voiced characters in many popular games, including Dragon Age II, Killzone 3, The Witcher 2 and 3, several Assassin's Creed games, and also several games in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. When asked a few months ago about the game being fully voiced, the studio previously thought making the game fully voiced would be too big a beast with an estimated 10, 000 lines due to the sequel's huge number of NPCs, more origin stories, and different character voices too.

Original Sin 2 nears its launch date, Larian Studios has prepared yet another Kickstarter update (#42) this time focusing on the audio side of things.

Original Sin 2 comes to PC on 14 September.
