As the Russian Federation investigation continues and the president continues to attack Republicans on Twitter, the possible impeachment of Donald Trump has been on many people's minds. "They need to get over it, they lost. You will have a spasm of violence in this country, an insurrection like you've never seen", Stone told TMZ Thursday.

Stone argued that those calling for Trump's impeachment were simply upset that Hillary Clinton lost the election, but that they should "get over it".

As calls for a President Donald Trump impeachment grow louder, a former Trump campaign advisor who still counsels the president, Roger Stone, predicted violence and civil war should those calls be answered.

Try to impeach him.

He noted "both sides are heavily armed", and said any politician who voted for impeachment would be "endangering their own life".

Toward the end of the interview, Stone claimed he was "not advocating violence".

Asked specifically if Trump were to be impeached there would be "some type of civil war?"

This conviction does not prevent the president from also facing criminal charges.

Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters said she would seek to impeach Trump during a speech while accepting the 2017 Black Girls Rock Social Humanitarian Award, according to the Washington Examiner.

"When did I say "violence"?" he asked.

Vice President Mike Pence is among those on whom the DNC is reported to be compiling opposition research. I'll make this clear.
