Beck has announced his 13th studio album, Colors, will be released on October 13th via Capitol Records.

The album is Beck's first full-length since 2014's "Morning Phase" (which won the Grammy for Album of the Year, as well as Best Rock Album) and has been preceded by two singles before today's: "Dreams" and "Wow". If you do pre-order it, you get instant access to a new track called "Dear Life", but you can also hear it below if you'd like to know what you're getting into before paying any money. The lyric video, directed by Jimmy Turrell, Larua Gorun and Brook Linder, are brief vignettes, mixtures of real-life scenes overlapped with colorful animations and more trippy graphics. The album was produced by Greg Kurstin and Beck, with the exception of "Wow" produced by Beck and Cole M.G.N., and "Fix Me" produced by Beck. The album was mixed by Serban Ghenea, except "Dreams" and "Up All Night", which were mixed by Greg Kurstin and Beck. It's not retro and not modern. Earlier this year, he covered Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love" for the Danger Mouse-curated soundtrack to Amazon's "The Man in the High Castle".
