That name comes from the iconic stretched Jeep-based pickup truck.

As far as axles for the new Jeep pickup, the AutoCAD screenshots show what we hope to be a beefed-up Dana 44.

Jeep's forthcoming pick-up based on its all-new Wrangler SUV will be called the Scrambler, according to new leaks.

We can also see the model code JT (which may or may not have been chosen as a tribute to me; if so, thanks) which refers to the Jeep pickup.

Other screenshots indicate that a variety of tops will be available for the Scrambler, including a black three-piece hard top, a body-colored three-piece hard top and a soft top. That would make the Jeep Scrambler the only factory convertible pickup truck on sale in the world, and give it an enormous leg up on the competition in a crowded market.

Details of the new pick-up's frame and axles have also surfaced with suggestions that the Scrambler will be built atop a ladder chassis that measures approximately 5210mm in length, giving it a considerable advantage over the current Wrangler Unlimited's 4370mm frame.

To help boost durability and allow a higher payload and tow weight, the Scrambler will come with different front and rear axles, claims the forum hacker.

Do you have information about the new Jeep Scrambler, or any other upcoming auto?
