The Gunners midfielder reacted furiously to being hit with a late tackle and responded by shoving the City player to the ground.

Arsenal have reportedly offered midfielder Jack Wilshere to AC Milan.

Understandably given his injury history, the England global was angered by Tyreke Wilson barging him over with the ball long gone. Tyreke Wilson was also sent off for his role in the fiesty scrap that unfolded.

Wilshere has been plagued by injury and spent last season on loan at Bournemouth - but instead of proving his fitness to Arsene Wenger, tonight Wilshere proved that he may be surplus to requirements at the Emirates.

The 25-year-old - now fit again following his recovery from the fracture to his lower left leg suffered during Bournemouth's 4-0 defeat at Tottenham in April - was drafted into Steve Gatting's side on Tuesday night, along with fellow first-team squad players R ob Holding and Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

Referee Samuel Allison then issued straight red cards to Wilshere and Wilson in the 63rd minute of the game.

Although Wilshere has recovered from his latest setback, he is not believed to be near the Arsenal first team at present and, according to the Corriere dello Sport, the Rossoneri are in talks with the Gunners over a prospective deal.
