With director Patrick Hughes' The Hitman's Bodyguard opening this weekend in theaters, I recently landed an exclusive interview with Salma Hayek.

Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson breathe some much needed life back into the summer movie season with "The Hitman's Bodyguard", a high-octane action comedy that isn't exactly original, but very entertaining nonetheless. The film stars Channing Tatum and Adam Driver as two brothers who set out to rob a major race at a motor speedway.

How did they pitch her on the role?

Talks about filming her big action scene and how she insisted on doing her own stunts. During their raucous and hilarious adventure from England to the Hague, they encounter high-speed auto chases, outlandish boat escapades and a merciless Eastern European dictator (Oldman) who is out for blood. Salma Hayek joins the mayhem as Jackson's equally notorious wife.

There's no doubt that "The Hitman's Bodyguard" has a "Midnight Run" feel to it - Bryce and Kincaid are constantly squabbling, mainly because the hitman has tried to kill Bryce 27 times before - yet the film still manages to hit the mark on many levels.
