The appearance of the smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A officially declassified

Those customers who are still waiting to get their hands on the Xiaomi Redmi 4A, the Chinese tech firm's budget smartphone, can do so today.

The sale will start at Amazon India website at 12 pm.The device is priced at Rs 5,999 which makes it one of the cheapest 4G smartphones in the market. The handset was launched in India back in March this year in Dark Grey and Gold colour options.

Alongside, Xiaomi is also working on Redmi Note 4 successor dubbed as Redmi Note 5. These come in the form of free data and discounts on some of the company's devices. The cases are originally priced at Rs 399. Redmi India has also tweeted for the open sale which reads "Any time is a good time to be #1 - Redmi Note 4 is now on open sale on http://mi.com & @Flipkart". For those Redmi 4A buyers interested in reading books, Amazon India is offering them the option to download the Kindle app on the smartphone and sign-in to get Rs 200 in credit for Kindle books.

As far as specifications Redmi Note 4 are concerned, it comes with a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) 2.5D curved glass display and a 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Global Positioning System with AGS/GLONASS and USB Type C. The handset measures 151 x 76 x 8.35mm and weighs 175 grams. This will be paired with in 2GB RAM and 16GB in-built storage with capacity for expansion upto 32GB. The phone would be powered by a 3,080 mAh battery, and might run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box, backed up by Xiaomi's MIUI 9. This would be a Hybrid Dual SIM smartphone which expected to be equipped with 16MP rear and 13MP front camera respectively with LED flash on both the optics. A 5MP front-facing shooter is also there.

The connectivity option in both the phones include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and Global Positioning System.
