Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 to go on sale in India today via Mi.com, Flipkart

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi launched its Redmi Note 4 smartphone in India in January this year.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, the phablet from affordable line-up of the Chinese firm will go on sale today at 12:00 pm on company's website Mi.com and Flipkart. On the other hand, Mi.com is offering a 12-month free subscription of Hungama Music along with 10 percent SuperCash on using mobile wallet MobiKwik. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4's variants include - 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, priced at Rs 9,999, Rs 10,999 and Rs 12,999 respectively.

Redmi Note 4 will be going on sale today. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 system on chip (SoC) and runs on MIUI 8, which is based on the latest version of Android Nougat.

In terms of the offers, Flipkart is offering 5 percent off to all Axis Bank Buzz credit card users.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes in three options based on RAM and inbuilt storage capacity. The storage can be further expanded yp to 128GB by installing a microSD card. The metal body houses a 5.5-inch full HD display with 2.5 D curved glass for smooth touch response.

The phone will feature a 4100 mAH battery which is just one per cent bigger than the Redmi Note 3 but will apparently cross Redmi Note 3 battery by 25 per cent.

The device sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with CMOS sensor and a 5 megapixel front facing camera.

In terms of connectivity, the device supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and Global Positioning System and it is backed by a 4,100 mAh battery. The likes of Moto G5 Plus and even the upcoming Nokia 6 can pose a serious threat to the Redmi Note 4.
