The new LTE Apple Watch won't have an "obvious change" to form factor, according to a new report from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

The report claims that Apple is expected to ship 17.5-18 million Apple Watches across this year with 8-9 million units being new models later this year.

If you're in the market for a new Apple Watch and were hoping to get your hands on a new form factor this fall, we've got some bad news for you. If this rumor pans out, it would be a welcome addition to the Apple Watch which, in its current incarnation, largely requires a paired iPhone in order to operate fully. As cited by 9to5Mac, the analyst says the new watch will indeed ship later this year in both LTE and non-LTE configurations.

According to Kuo, Apple will offer Series 3 watches with and without LTE, much like the iPad lineup.

Kuo also suggests there won't be any major redesign to the body of the watch itself.
