Carrie Underwood may be a country music star during the day, but she's a superhero by night.

Underwood and Mike Fisher evidently believe in making bedtime a blast for their adorable 2-year-old son, Isaiah, and before they tucked him in on Thursday, they made a decision to play a little dress-up to get him ready.

"Just a typical Thursday night at the Fisher house...featuring Catboy, Gekko and Owlette!"

The pictures show Underwood in a red mask as the PJ Masks character Owlette, with Fisher and Isaiah as Gekko and Catboy. "It's time to be a hero!"

The trio wore their masks along with capes.

Fisher now has more free time to fight crimes like staying up too late after announcing his retirement from professional hockey.

"Celebrating 7 years with this awesome man. Here's to so many more years and memories together", Underwood captioned a selfie of her and her husband.

"Captain @mfisher1212 I sure am going to miss watching you play. but I so look forward to seeing what God has in store for you in this next chapter of your life", Underwood wrote to the former Nashville Predators captain August 3. Turns out she's the best wife, and mom to Izzy, I could ever dream of!
