The Cardinals already got their first chance to showcase their talents on national television, but fans won't be lucky enough to see them and the Raiders battle on ESPN or the NFL Network on Saturday night unless they're in the two teams' markets.

Lynch's apparent protest comes in wake of this weekend's violent white nationalist rallies in Charlottesville, Va. and falls in line with what Colin Kaepernick started around the National Football League last season as players found ways to protest racism and police brutality during the playing of the anthem before games.

Kaepernick remains an unsigned free agent.

Four key players for the Raiders are expected to sit out.

Sankey, a second-round draft pick by Tennessee in 2014, joined Minnesota's practice squad late last season.

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - The Minnesota Vikings waived former Huskies running back Bishop Sankey with an injured designation after he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in the exhibition opener. He was hurt at the end of a 14-yard run at Buffalo on Thursday and left the stadium on crutches.
