Netflix has renewed its wrestling comedy GLOW for a second season. GLOW premiered in late June to overwhelmingly positive reviews and high fan praise. After today's announcement, however, fans can put all worries to rest.

The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling will be back for another round in the ring after all. While the show is inspired by the actual '80s GLOW show, most of the events and characters are fictional.

While Netflix does not release its ratings, "GLOW" did premiere during a strong second quarter for the streaming service, which included the addition of over five-million new subscribers and the premieres of "GLOW" and the new seasons of Netflix favorites like "House of Cards" and "Orange is the New Black". "Season 2 is on the way".

The show, co-created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch and executive produced by "Orange Is the New Black" creator Jenji Kohanwill, will return for another 10 episodes. It also continues the winning streak for Brie's television career, who enjoyed great success on shows like Mad Men and Community.

You may have picked up on this, but we here at UPROXX really, really, really loved Netflix's GLOW. Set in 1985 Los Angeles, GLOW follows Ruth Wilder (Alison Brie), a struggling out-of-work actress as she auditions for, trains and eventually makes the first-ever women's wrestling TV show.

GLOW season 1 is now available to stream on Netflix, we'll keep you updated on season 2.
