EA Access is a subscription-based gaming service available exclusively on Xbox One. Battlefield 1 is still priced at $59.99 on the Microsoft Store today, so it's now much cheaper to try the game by subscribing to EA Access.

If you're an Origin Access member, you can visit the Battlefield 1 page or on your Origin client. The Titanfall 2 campaign was particularly well received, though unfortunately the game didn't sell too well during the crowded holiday season. It became one of the best selling games of the year and most recently was confirmed to be boasting over twenty-one million players worldwide. Subscriptions cost $5 a month or $30 per year.

Battlefield 1 is now free to download from Origin and EA Access.

Towards the beginning of July, EA outlined their plans for EA and Origin Access. In addition, the service features pre-release access as well as a nifty discount on all digital purchases for games from the publisher. There are still plenty of people playing BF1 and Titanfall 2 as well, so you won't need to worry about a lack of multiplayer.
