Watford appear to be closing in on the signing of Burnley striker Andre Gray.

And Sky Sports claims that the fee has been agreed and that personal terms will be discussed on Wednesday ahead of a medical.

According to our sister paper The Mirror, Watford have had two bids rejected for the 26-year-old forward, but now the two clubs are said to be close to agreeing an £18.5m fee.

Gray arrived at Turf Moor from Brentford in a £6 million deal, in 2015, firing the Clarets to promotion with 23 goals in 42 games during his debut season, before hitting another 10 goals in 36 appearances, last season, helping Sean Dyche's team avoid relegation back down to the Championship.

The striker would also become the seventh new arrival at Vicarage Road this summer, following the signings of Richarlison, Tom Cleverley, Will Hughes, Nathaniel Chalobah, Kiko Femenia and Daniel Bachmann.

Gray was playing non-league football with Luton only three years ago, but has since scored 50 goals in 120 league matches during his spells with Brentford and Burnley.
