Jordan Brand Unveils UNC College Football Uniforms

North Carolina's new football uniforms do the thing all North Carolina uniforms should do: remind you Michael Jordan played there, even though haters insist he played a different sport.

"The Tar Heels will wear the Nike Mach Speed chassis, which is created to maximize the athlete's range of motion and increase breathability with a minimal-seam design, stretch woven materials and laser perforations in the front and back panels". UNC also updated the uniform stripes to include the iconic argyle print first implemented by designer Alexander Julian at the wishes of legendary basketball coach Dean Smith back in the 1980s. And even though the University of MI was the first football team to wear the Jumpman logo on their uniforms, it's only right that the stamp of approval is featured on the Tar Heels' latest options. "In addition to the traditional home and away uniforms, Jordan Brand will outfit the team with an alternate navy look inspired by the practice shorts Jordan famously wore under his professional uniform".

Teens like the Jumpman, so UNC is going with the Jumpman, no matter how much it bewilders people who'd prefer to see a silhouette of a football person on a football helmet.
