Diego Costa to make a surprise move to force Chelsea exit

"The player knew the decision, his agent knew the decision, clearly the lawyer has not been well informed".

The Spanish striker's lawyer has confirmed the news after revealing that the player feels that he has been unfairly treated by manager Antonio Conte.

"Not only have Chelsea not intervened or denied it either in public or in private, they have renewed Conte's contract, demonstrating they agree with the dismissal of Diego Costa and the way in which it was processed".

Costa won two Premier League titles and a League Cup during his time in London, as well as being named in the Premier League Team of the Year following an impressive first season. However, Atletico are subject to a transfer embargo until January 2018.

Conte repeated his summer-long stance over Costa, who has been linked with a return to Atletico Madrid, as well as a move to AC Milan. "I'd prefer to avoid talking about other clubs' players; Diego is a great player but he's a Chelsea player". For sure I don't understand why lawyers are getting involved. Conte said the duo could also miss the start of the league season, when Chelsea host Burnley on August 12.

That being said, Manchester United are still the favourites to land Bale, with Jose Mourinho even thought to be under the impression he can land Bale for less than the £89 million Real Madrid shelled out for him initially. If PSG is able to do this why not?

You've got a £50m budget to pick 11 players, with all the biggest new signings ready and raring to go ahead of a mouthwatering new Premier League campaign. Without passing judgment he recognized that a "normal" player now runs £40-50 million, and that top players almost require fees that would have been world records only a few years ago.

"I don't like to talk about players who are not here. We want to play a good game with good intensity".

Bayakoko is expected to take the place of Nemanja Matic whose strength helped Chelsea to give a free rein to their attack-minded midfielders such as Eden Hazard, Pedro and Willian.

"It's very important to try to improve our squad, we have a small squad", Conte told reporters on Friday. Otherwise, the number is always less and we are in trouble.

"We know it will be hard next season and we will try and avoid what happened to Mourinho's side at the start of 2015", he said during a pre-season tour of Asia.
