Warning: Spoilers ahead for Game of Thrones Season 7. She is officially off Game of Thrones from here on out.

Rather than kill Tyrell's ruler, Olenna, in some barbaric fashion, Jaime offered her a merciful death by drinking painless poison, which she accepted. "Dames don't audition for you, you audition for them". It was a charged moment: the Queen of Thorns lost her granddaughter Margaery when Cersei blew up the Sept of Baelor, and Jaime finally learned exactly how his son died during the Purple Wedding.

"We've been so lucky to have Diana [Rigg] on the show", Weiss added.

He later called her confession and death the "favorite scene she's ever done for us". "She really brought it", said Benioff.

"It's really dark. What I love about this scene is you're reading it and from one sentence to the next you don't know what's going to happen - how Cersei is going to treat her victim. She's probably the only character to win her own death scene".

Even Coster-Waldau, who's character was responsible for killing Rigg's Lady Olenna, praised the actress's performance in the episode. "Olenna is like Cersei in so many ways, but just from our point of view she's been on the "good" side", the actor says. "I'd hate to die like your son, clawing at my neck, foam and bile spilling from my mouth", she told Jaime. She shall be sorely missed. She did an unbelievable job. But, come on, we all know Olenna is not one to leave without uttering the last word!

Obviously, HUGE SPOILERS if you're not caught up on the series, and possible future spoilers if any of these theories turn out to be true. However, while we assumed Thrones would show Varma's tragic plight at least one more time, it seems that the showrunners are finally shutting the book on that very bad Dorne storyline.

With only a handful of episodes left of Game of Thrones season 7, we may have to prepare ourselves to say goodbye to a few more of our most beloved characters. Well, some fans reckon little vengeful killer Arya Stark - who is now on her way to King's Landing to "kill the queen" - will play off Cersei's trust in Bernadette, taking Bernadette's face and posing as the maid to attack the queen. I just thought the delivery of that information was so clever.
