There are leaks, and then there are leaks. There were testy moments. "He said so yesterday". The deep state is also preparing legislations so that he can't fire special prosecutor Robert Mueller, who is investigating Russia's meddling in U.S. election and allegations of Trump campaign colluding with Russian Federation.

The Trump White House seems to have more leaks than a sinking ship, but that hasn't stopped the media from taking advantage of the situation.

DAVID FOLKENFLIK, BYLINE: Oh, it's a deluge.

I've never seen anythink like this. A study pool of 1,530 Dutch adults - 974 of whom took a vacation during the 32-week study period - revealed that vacationers who reported a "relaxing" vacation felt no more happy than people who hadn't gone to a golf course or a beach or wherever. And so there are these three impulses that have led to an astonishing level of leaks - the kind that Presidents George W. Bush and President Obama really sought to ensure didn't happen. That included a secret subpoena of phone records of Associated Press reporters and editors following a 2012 story about a foiled bomb plot, and the labeling of a Fox News journalist as a "co-conspirator" after a report on North Korea. And that's not something that can always be done transparently.

In the years that Barack Obama was in the #White House, Donald Trump would routinely take shots [VIDEO] at the commander in chief anytime a vacation was announced or taking place. This is getting risky, folks.

And early Friday, he continued an economic message, citing the Toyota and Mazda news, touting a new investment in Wisconsin by Foxconn and promoting his administration's work on tax reform and the latest jobs numbers. He was running as the anti-Obama, the tough-talking, hard-deal-making business guy who knew how to run things - not the professor-turned-community-organizer who thought more government was the answer to anything and everything.

'I don't think any of you would like to be in the West Wing in an August D.C. summer day when it's over 100 degrees with no air conditioning, ' said Walters. "You and I are friends". You're an American, too. That's not the way, usually, journalists think. The President is an unstable man/baby who only cares about his own image while weakening the United States. His announcement, made with other security officials at the Justice Department, followed a series of news reports involving the Trump campaign and White House that have relied on classified information.

The strategy of speaking to supporters rather than the public at large has carried over to some of Trump's joint press conferences.

Trump is pushing his attorney general to be more aggressive in prosecuting illegal leaks, and Thursday's revelations could send those efforts into overdrive.
