Eminem is returning to the movie business with a producer credit on the new comedy movie Bodied which follows the story of a university student that writes a controversial thesis on the rap battle scene. The reel, which will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7, touches upon race relations, KSFM says.

Eminem is reported to be producing the movie with Kahn directing - the latter of which is responsible for directing music videos for the likes of Missy Elliot, Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, Janet Jackson, Dr. Dre, U2, and Lady Gaga.

Directed by music video visionary Joseph Khan and produced by Eminem, Bodied has apparently been in the works for some time now but it's set to premiere at this year's Toronto International Film Festival. If you're not familiar with those names (which you should be before you see this film), other stars like Debra Wilson, Charlamagne tha God, and Anthony Michael Hall have signed on to appear in the movie. The rap satire will primarily focus on race relations and will include marquee underground acts such as Loaded Lux, Dizaster, Dumbfounded and Hollow Da Don. These individuals guide us and then challenge us to become the best version of ourselves. "He's believed in me as an artist, been generous with his knowledge, and forced me to push my creative boundaries".
