World War II film "Dunkirk" continues to lead North American box office

The raunchy "Girls Trip" was estimated to take in $20 million on its second weekend. with $65.5 million in the bank.

"Dunkirk's total in the 35.4 million United States dollars, already surpassing the lifetime runs of Clint Eastwood's "American Sniper" and Nolan's last film, 'Interstellar". The American 3D computer-animated comedy film directed by Tony Leondis stars the voice of Anna Faris, James Corden, T.J. Miller, Patrick Stewart and Sofia Vergara among others.

Wonder Woman is once again the longest running film and the highest total grossing with 9 weeks on the chart and $396.4 million in grosses.

"The Emoji Movie" and "Atomic Blonde" both arrived with decent debuts, while "Dunkirk" saw its second-week grosses slip 44% to an estimated $28.1 million in the US and Canada. Sony's "Spider-Man: Homecoming" finished fifth with an estimated 13.45 million USA dollars in its fourth weekend.
