Sushant Singh Rajput went on Astronaut Mode for Chanda Mama Door Ke!

The film is said to be inspired by Stanley Kubrick's 1968 epic 2001: A Space Odyssey, and is set to be India's first space adventure film. Yes, the actor has already started undergoing training at NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration).

With Raabta tanking at the box-office, Chanda Mama Door Ke becomes crucial for Sushant's Bollywood career. In Kedarnath, Sushant will work opposite Jhanvi Kapoor, Sridevi's daughter.

The actor who is essaying the role of an Astronaut in his next film "Chandamama Door Ke" now becomes the first Bollywood actor to get trained at NASA.

Sushant is definitely not leaving any stone unturned for the film which is gearing up for release in 2018. Taran tweeted, "Sushant Singh Rajput to undergo special training at NASA's Space & Rocket Center..." In Chanda Mama Door Ke Sushant is playing the role of an astronaut. We wonder if these two actors will also be going to NASA for the training.

The perfectionist actor had stated in an interview earlier that, he will be learning to acquire the body language and mindset of an astronaut for one month.

Sushant who is playing an astronaut in the film is now at NASA's Space and Rocket Centre at Alabama, in U.S., where he is participating in workshops and undergoing various training to acquaint himself with the life of an astronaut. Now, for the very first time, I will go there and experience all these things that so far were only in my head. From practicing the moonwalk to experiencing zero gravity to flying a space shuttle simulator, Sushant will do everything to prepare well for his role. All these things that I only studied or have the concept of in my head, I will explore it now, so I am excited.
