Yesterday, we had reported about how Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Babumoshai Bandookbaaz was given 48 suggested cuts, with the director even claiming that Mr Nihalani saab wanted to initially ban the movie. This time, the unlucky movie which they are eyeing through the regressive prism is Nawazuddin Siddiqui, "Babumoshai Bandookbaaz". And sadly, the latter has happened.

Days after news of Pahlaj Nihalani's ouster from the Central Board of Film Certification was dismissed, the censor board has struck heavily against two films. A complaint about the same has been registered with the Indian Film and Television Directors' Association (IFTADA).

On Tuesday, director Kushan Nandy alleged that CBFC handed him a list, which includes cuss words, kissing and intimate scenes and dialogues that it wants removed from his film, according to the Hindustan Times. This after reviewing the film four times in a year, and repeated orders from the Kerala High Court to clear the film with cuts, if needed.

Meanwhile, Bidita Bag, who has films like X: Past Is Present, From Sydney with Love and Ichhe on her resume, shared her experience of filming with Nawazuddin and told PTI: "He is one of the best actors that I have ever worked with. My film is based in UP and it will sound weird if I muffle words".

Well, the movie has been in news for all the wrong reasons. Nawazuddin Siddiqui starer garnered the limelight since the trailer of the film came out.

Produced by Kiran Shyam Shroff and Ashmith Kunder, directed by Kushan Nandy and written by Ghalib Asad Bhopali, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz is scheduled to release on Aug 25. Let's see if the film will be able to release without any cuts, or the makers will have to bow down to CBFC.
