Late-Night Hosts All Revel In Scaramucci's White House Dismissal

Thousands of angry comedians protested outside the White House on Monday afternoon, demanding the immediate reinstatement of the ousted communications director Anthony Scaramucci. " But as Colbert said, "That's not a fair comparison; with Game of Thrones, you have to wait a whole week for a new beheading". 'The front-stabber has been back-stabbed'.

"He said he was going to fire everybody and I got to admit he delivered", the CBS host said. Responding to the White House statement saying the president thought Scaramucci's comments to New Yorker reporter Ryan Lizza were inappropriate, Kimmel thought that explanation made sense. 'I barley just got to the White House, said some dumb stuff now I'm out'.

"I come to you tonight a broken man", Colbert said to his "Late Show" audience.

'Didn't mean to cause outcry, I won't be back to mooch this time tomorrow'. The guy became an instant phenomenon after being named President Donald Trump's new White House Director of Communications.

Known for his brash demeanor, Scaramucci last week unleashed a vulgar tirade against Trump's then chief of staff Reince Priebus, who he described as a 'f**king paranoid schizophrenic'.

Reports of Anthony Scaramucci's demise have been greatly exaggerated.

The still-alive NY man's tenure as comms director ended as quickly as it began on Monday, not long after (local connection alert) Boston native and retired Marine General John Kelly was appointed Chief of Staff.

"John Kelly has two first names; Reince Priebus has no recognizable names at all", Colbert quipped.
