Cent and 'Power' Creator Lash Out at Starz

This isn't the first time 50 took to social media to express his grievances. The episode saw the death of two major characters and was supposed to include additional storylines. Kemp also said that due to their 10-episode limit, the writers were forced to cut a few story elements.

Unfortunately, Starz didn't agree to extend the episode order for this season, so they crammed it all into one episode.

As a result, the treatment ended up half-baked as the plot around Jukebox and Julio fell short and lacking.

On his Instagram @50cent, the rapper asked with a hint of disappointment, "If the biggest show on your network doesn't mean anything, what does your network mean STARZ?".

50 Cent also stated that he is better off bringing his talent elsewhere, suggesting he could exit the series and leave Starz.

"We were going to do two separate episodes", Kemp told EW. After Power's third season, 50 Cent slammed the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for excluding the show from the 2016 Golden Globes. "I woke up feeling a little different about POWER this morning", he said in a post with a collage of shots from the show.

Taking to Instagram after Sunday night's epic episode, the rapper, who also plays Kanan on the series, said he feels "a little different about Power" before threatening to leave the show, which now stands as one of the highest-rated programs on the network. "Because they would not do it, we had to make it one episode..."
